The introduction of Greek philosophy into the Muslim land had a far-reaching impact on Islamic intellectual and cultural life in the 9th century. Can the Greek philosophy of Plato, Aristotle, and Plotinus meet with the philosophies of Islam? In justifying the Greek philosophy or otherwise, several Thought Schools emerged, such as al-Mu’tazilah, and many intellectuals wrote on this subject.
Abu Yusuf Ya’qub al-Kinidy (died 866) was the first Muslim Philosopher to distinguish himself as both a great Muslim thinker and a serious Greek philosophy student.

Muhammad bin Zakariya ar-Razi, a prolific author, was one of the most brilliant Middle Ages who wrote about Philosophy, Logic, Astronomy, and Physical Science.
Ibn Rush, Al-Razi, al Farabi, and Ibn Sina all wrote on Logic, Medicine and Belief.
